Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Wa'laykum-as-salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu, During ritual salaah, it is best not to think of anyone whilst you are in communion with the Almighty. It must be remembered, that it is not at all times that we may pay 100% attention in salaah, that our minds do tend to sway towards one thought or another. This is not the issue. What the issue really is that so long as our mind is connected to the Almighty, then regardless of whether your mind has other thoughts your salaah will still count. The problem arises when our minds tend to wonder off, in such a case your heart can take control of the salaah, if this remains steady, this will act as a remedy for your unintended thoughts that do occur during salaah, which may be a common problem. I hope this reply answers your question. M. Waseem Ashrafi.
