Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Praise be to Allah Almighty who is the Master of All the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be upon Our Beloved Master the Last Messenger Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).Jazaj'Allah for your question dear brother. Depending upon the 'Aqidah of an Imam, it is permissable to pray Salah behind them in congregation, providing the Imam is a 'Sahih ul 'Aqidah' Sunni, meaning he does not contest the validity of Prophethood, nor declines in it, he does not blaspheme any of the characterisics of prophethood, given to the Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), then he will have a good 'Aqidah. But where we have Muslims who say that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), had no knowledge of the unseen, or where they try to contest him, by bringing hadiths that are out of context, then they are trying to demean the character of the Prophet of Islam, and no Salah maybe valid behind them. To demean, demoralise, defame, denounce, and to disrespect the Beloved Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), leads to a distortion of Iman, and no Salah is valid behind a person who commits such crimes. With regard to your second question, then I have answered a similar question in great detail, by giving the references from 'Fatawa Na'imi', by Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan Na'imi (Rehmatullahi ’Alaih). You should find this in the question and answers section, under the appropriate archive. Similarly, for the first question. May Allah the Almighty keep us all aware of any enemies of Islam, and the Messenger (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), and may He keep us all guided on the right path.Jazakallahu Khayrann M.
