Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Allah, Most Glorious and Sublime we Praise, and Infinite Blessings and Peace upon His Most Beloved and Noble Messenger, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam)First & foremost there are certain etiquettes and disciplines one most always observe when addressing any question. No one in the right frame of mind would address a question in the raw manner as it has been put above. In general one would never put it in this way to anyone found in such circumstances be it mere friends, family or to people of social, political or religious importance.
The question relates to the Beloved Messenger of Allah, (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)! The Saviour & Champion of Humanity, the Peace maker, The Trusted, The Truthful, [as accepted and witnessed by the disbelievers of the Prophetic era]. We seek refuge in Allah, Most Sublime, The Perfect, from such slanders, false allegations and evil conspiracies and whispers of satanic nature. We live in a time when we hear evil suggestions and remarks unheard of and unimaginable even from the disbelievers of the time of Qur'anic revelation.
The question has obviously been deliberate with ill intent, discourteous and without any social or religious context. The question is obviously not from a Muslim. If he claims to profess Islam then he most certainly is a Munafiq; hypocrite, as we shall soon clarify. In our times one will find such false distortions and evil deeds in the works of extreme Jews, Hindus and the Shia’s.
As for Muslims such questions/allegations, evil conspiracies or hypocrisies should be of no surprise. One will find many verses clearly refuting the disbelievers, idolaters, Jews and hypocrites of the Prophetic times. In Surah
an-Nur, when false and offensive accusations targeted Sayyidah ‘Aisha,
Allah be well pleased with her, with such intensity that it became a matter of tribulation amongst the sincere Companions, Allah be well pleased with them, and because Allah,
Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, delayed revelation up to five days until finally absolving her and declaring her accusers of being hypocrites.
When Allah,
Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, Himself refutes and defends such accusations and evil whispers during the Prophetic lifetime upon the Messenger of Allah,
(Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), His Blessed Wives, Noble Companions and Pure Progeny, Allah be pleased with them all, then it leaves no room for further hesitation in counter attacking such erroneous and evil claims of today, if from within the Ummah as hypocrisies in faith or as mere temptations and tribulations from Allah,
Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, when attacked from disbelievers.
The Sacred Qur’an is the eternal Word of Allah,
Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, applicable then, now and until the final hour. The verses exalting, elevating the high moral virtues and character of the Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), exonerating Sayyidah Aisha,
Allah be well pleased with her, and clarifying Allah’s contentment and assent with the Noble Companions and purification of the Household and Progeny of the Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam), and Allah be well pleased with them all, are sufficient for the discerning and Allah fearing Muslims.
The Most Beloved Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), did indeed marry Sayyidah Aisha,
Allah be well pleased with her, after the blessed demise of Sayyidah Khadijah, Allah be well pleased with her, according to some traditions at the age of 9. The marriage, the age and the nature of the ‘sacred relationship’ is of no significance at all when read and observed in total context with the Life & Teachings of the Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).
The marriage and visitation of the blessed wife should not be immediately seen as merely ‘sexual’. The Noble Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), taught mankind the morals, rights and etiquettes of marriage referring to it as a sacred bond and contract protecting and preserving a women’s dignity and honour. When the Lawmaker and the Lawgiver teach Mankind such rules and disciplines, the evil thoughts intended to create by the question are of no serious foundation.
One must ask the questioner, if the thoughts and comments he was feebly trying to create by the evil question had any share of the ‘Truth’; history, historians, biographers and internationally renowned intellectuals would not address the Messenger of Allah,
(Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), as a humanist, peace maker, most versatile personality, and one who contributed the most to human development & civilization.
Sayyidah ‘Aisha,
Allah be well pleased with her, when she married the Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), was in the best of care, nurture, trust and in the purest of love. Throughout her lifetime with the Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), there is no record of any complaint, harm or regret. On the contrary, she records her sacred love, as an impeccable unique lifetime with an impeccable husband & her personal testimony of proudly sharing her lifetime with the Messenger of Allah, (
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).
Only an evil or satanic mind would equate a sacred holy ‘marriage’ with a short statement of ‘sex’!
May Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, protect & preserve our faith from such slanders & evil intentions. And indeed Allah, is All-Knowing, The Most Wise and Mercifull.Imam Abu Yusuf
