Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu[/i]
Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon Our Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamJazakallah for your valued question brother, this is not an annoying question at all. Things that you are not aware of must be asked, and I am pleased that you have asked me this question, as it enhances my knowledge also.
You may start off saying that Islam had been established when Hadrat Adam
alayhis 'salam was brought down to earth. He preached the oneness of Allah to all creation at His time, and this applies to all the Prophets and Messenger through to Hadrat Isa
alayhis 'salam. Islam was therefore established from the first day. Any time in between the descension of the Prophets, the laws were followed set out by the subsequent Prophets.
The parents of The Most Beloved Messenger of Allah
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam, believed in the oneness of Allah the Almighty, and also believed that there was a Messenger, the Final Messenger to come. When He did arrive, they believed in Him. This applied to Hadrat Aminah
Radi Allahu ta'ala anha.
You could also argue, that the light (
nur) of the beloved Messenger of Allah
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam came through pure (
tahir) loins, and wombs of their wives, until it reached Hadrat Abdullah
Radi Allahu anhu. It was this light which had granted Hadrat Adam
alayhis 'salam the pardon from descending to earth after eating from the tree. This was the light which was the means of granting the boat of Hadrat Nuh
alayhis 'salam the shore, after the floods came. It was this light, by which Hadrat Ayyub
alayhis 'salam was saved from the hardships He suffered, and by Hadrat Isma'il
alayhis 'salam, when He was about to be sacrificed by His father, Hadrat Ibrahim
alayhis 'salam. This was the light by which Hadrat Isa
alayhis 'salam had been taken to the heavens when He was accused of being a magician, and thus the people of each and every prophet believed in them, some, which had, and some which hadnt.
The blessed & most noble parents of the Beloved Messenger of Allah
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, were from amongst the believers. Had they not been the believers, then the critics would have had the arguement of saying, that the Beloved Messenger
Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam's parents were not Muslims, yet their son was. And this case scenario can be applied to every Prophets parents, who were on the path of Islam, a religion which remained the same, but the laws which changed, from Prophet to Prophet.
May Allah the Almighty give us true understanding of the status of the parents of Our Most Beloved Messenger Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam. (Amin)Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
