Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuPraise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Beloved Messenger, the Final Prophet of Islam, (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).Jazak'Allah for your valued question. This as a most amazing thing that if the Shias have altered the Qur'an al kareem, they have altered the word of Allah the Almighty. There is no one in the world, who can alter the word of Allah the Almighty. Allah the Almighty says: 'Inna nahnu nazzal nadh dhikra, wa inna lahu la hafizun'
'It is we who descended the Qur'an, and it is we who are the defenders of it'. This verse of the Enlightened Qur'an al hakeem, clearly expresses, that its protection is a Divine Protection, from Allah the Almighty, and that it can never be tranformed. In the days of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), the Jews would alter the 'Injil', as can be seen from the ahaadith-e-Mubarikah, especially when it came to the strict commandments, for example 'rajm', a punishment for fornication. This was a practice of the Jews known as 'tahrif', and there is no space in Islam for a group that practices this, for if they did, they would be out of the folds of Islam. Also the Qur'an states: 'la yamassu hu illal mutahharun'
'Non shall touch it except those who are the purified ones'. Again this verse states that no one is deemed to be impure shall ever touch the Qur'an al kareem, of an evil state, except for those whom Allah the Almighty has chosen. As for the Shia sect, then there are different stories as they do have different levels of believers within them. But those who say that there were thirty two chapters of the Qur'an al kareem, or that some of it has been removed, do so without any evidence or proof, especially in the light of the verses that have been given above. May Allah the Almighty, make us grateful for giving us the Qur'an al kareem, as the complete code of life, and may He help us to act upon it, in the best way we can.Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM.
