Assalam o alaikum I have been told that threading is Halal, thats the removing of the facial hair by women with a thread. I and alot of women have been using this tecnique over the years.
I had just heard today that threading the eyebrows is Haraam. (Shaping of the eyebrows by removing hair)
IS this true. Please try and answer soon as I am in a dilemma! Wassalam.

Allah, Most Glorious and Sublime we Praise, and Infinite Blessings and Peace upon His Beloved and Noble Messenger, Salla Allahu alayhi wa Sallam
Allah, with His name I begin; The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful
The Beloved Prophet, Salla Allahu alayhi wa Sallam, said,
May Allah curse women who wear false hair or arrange it for others, who tattoo or have themselves tattooed, who pluck facial hair or eyebrows or have them plucked, and women who separate their front teeth for beauty, altering what Allah has created.
The above Hadith has been related by Imam Hafiz al-Hadith, Shams ud-Din, Al-Dhahabi, (B673H-D748H) in his famous work, Kitab al-Kabaâir; Book of Major sins.
Imam Hafiz Al-Hadith, Ahmad ibn Ali, Abu al-Fadl Shihab al-Din Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, (B773H-D852H) writes in his famous commentary on Sahih al-Bukhari, Fath al-Bari:
And, (Imam Yahya ibn Sharaf, Abu Zakariyya, Muhyi al-Din, B631H-D676H) al-Nawawi said, an exception from the prohibition of plucking away facial hair is when a woman has a beard, moustache, or hair growing between her lower lip and chin, in which cases it is not unlawful for her to remove it, but rather is Mustahab; commendable.
The permissibility being on condition that her husband knows of it and gives his permission, though it is prohibited if he does not, because of the deception it entails.
(Fath al-Bari)
The same conditions would apply for the plucking or threading of eyebrows.
And the Knowledge of Allah, Most Glorified & Exalted is Complete and Encompasses all, and Grant Infinite Blessings and Peace upon His Revered & Beloved Messenger, Salla Allahu alayhi wa Sallam.
