Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,All Praise be to Allah the Almighty, who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam)Jazak'Allah for your valued question Sister. It is not permissable for women to be present for Jama'ah for any Salaah, whether that Salaah be of the morning or of the evening, whether it is Jummah Salaah or the Eid Salaah, regardless of whether they are young or old. (Bahar-e-Shar'iyyat, part three, page 68). Although the above issue of women performing Eid Salaah has been quoted, nevertheless, there are mosques which provide a partition, or a gallery, or pardah for women, in which they can come and pray Salaah of Jummah, Salaah of Eid, and attend on other special days. Since the larger mosques, have the facilities and fundings, as opposed to those Mosques which are smaller in the towns, nevertheless there will be a difference of opinion on this issue. However, we are in a time where Mosques need to be used for their correct purpose, and as long as we confine to the rules of the Shar'iyyah, then there is the permissability of women praying in Jama'ah, for the Eid Salaah, behind a partition, so long as she has arrived there with her relatives or relations. We have given further details on the issue of 'Womens Salaah' previously, see the related link below from the Archive section. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
