Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I had asked a question way back about waxing or threading the eyebrows, I had another question. What if a women has excessive amounts of facial hair and its not bleach-able is she then allowed to remove the hair? I've heard one must take care of themself, does this fall in that category? And what I mean by excessive amounts of facial hair I mean like a man's peach-fuzz type like a 2-3 day unshaved man.
And what if this excessive amount of hair is all OVER the body, is the women allowed to wax if the bleach doesnt work?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa SallamJazak'allah for your question. I know you are looking for some form of solution to the question you asked. But even though there have been rare cases of women having hair on their faces, it is undesirable, and highly unlikely, that Islam will allow for a woman to pluck the hair out. However where bleaching is concerned, then if it is a change of colour so that the minute hairs match the colour of the skin, then there is no harm in this. And Allah knows best.M. Waseem Ashrafi
