ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
I would like to know the persimibility of wearing a taveez in the state of Haiz and nifaas or going to the bathroom.
Should the taveez be removed?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam It is permissable for a woman who is in the state of haydh or nifas to wear a ta'wiz. The ta'wiz should however be covered in what is known a 'ghulaf'. The ghulaf will prevent the ta'wiz from touching any part of the womans body, and will act as a shield. The Qur'an states: 'la yamassu hu illal muttahharun'
'Non shall touch it except those who are pure'. (Qur'an, 56:79) This is why it is necessary for the ta'wiz to have a covering. (usually leather), known as a ghulaf. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
