Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuPraise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon Our Last, Beloved and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Jazak'Allah for your valued question. Children should be taught all the du'as from an early age. If they can recite, then they should know the 'First Kalimah', they ahould be told to recite this often, as it is the 'afdhal udh dhikr'. They should know all the six Kalimahs including 'Iman-e-Mufassal' and 'Iman-e-Mujmal'. They should know du'as which would increase their knowledge, and one such du'a is: 'rabbi zidni 'ilmann'
'Increase my knowledge, my Lord'. You should try to make them pray five times Salaah, every day, so that they get into the habit of it, when they are older. Similarly, they should be told to recite some verses of the Qur'an al kareem everyday, so that they do not distant themselves from it. Some other du'as are: 'Subhanallahi wa bi hamdi hi subhanallahil 'azim' and: 'la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil 'aliyil 'azim' also: 'Ya Shaykh Sayyad 'Abd 'al-Qadir Gilani Shay ill Lillahi' or: Similarly:'Astaghfirullaha rabbi min jami'e ma karihallahu qawlann fi'lamm sam'ann naziran, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil 'aliyil 'azim.'These are some of the du'as that are easy to learn, and are most beneficial. I hope you make good use of these, and also remember me in your du'as.Jazakallhu khayrannM. Waseem Ashrafi
