Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I hope this question reaches you in the best of health Imam saab.
I have a brother who is experiencing many hardships at home quite recently. All his loved ones's are facing tough problems, things are generally bad.
The question i am asking here that is there any special duas for a house with such problems? Is there any particular parts of the Quran-e-Majid that one can read to make the troubles go away?
jazakallah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa SallamJazak'allah for your valued question. There are many du'as which can be recited for the troubles, afflictions and hardhips that a person faces anywhere. The extent is that the whole Qur'an al kareem is a remedy for the believer. Allah the Almighty says in al Qur'an: 'Wa nunazzilu minal Qur'ani ma huwa shifaa'uw wa Rahamatul lil mu'minin'
'And we send in the Qur'an, that which is healing, and a mercy to the believers, and it adds loss only to the unjust'
(al Qur'an; 17;82) If a person obey's what Allah the Almighty has ordered and commanded him to do, such as pray the five times salah, recite the Qur'an al kareem, obey his/her parents and the elderly, seek the knowledge of his religion, and have good character, in the way the beloved Messenger Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam has told us to have, then no matter how great a calamity befalls a believer, he will take it like a pinch of salt! Here are a few recitations one can perform, once he fulfils his duties to Allah the Almighty first. To read the Darood Shareef eleven times before & after reciting: 'Ammay yujibul mudtarra idha da'aho wa yakshifus su'a'
'Who is it which reaches the cry of the destitute, and rids all hardship'
(Surah an Naml : 62) This can be recited 500 times after the Isha' salah every day, for 40 days. Insha'Allah you will be eased of your difficulty. I hope that the above advice will be acted upon, and that you will carry these acts out in abundance. We can only pray that Allah the Almighty grants us all ease, from the wordly hardships we have to face. (Amin)Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
