Asalam alaikum imam
my sister has an illness called MS(Multiple skleros) since 7-8 years back..
MS can cause a variety of symptoms, including changes in sensation (hypoesthesia), muscle weakness, abnormal muscle spasms, or difficulty in moving; difficulties with coordination and balance (ataxia); problems in speech (dysarthria) or swallowing (dysphagia), visual problems (nystagmus, optic neuritis, or diplopia), fatigue and acute or chronic pain syndromes, bladder and bowel difficulties, cognitive impairment, or emotional symptomatology (mainly depression). Lhermitte's sign is considered a classic MS finding, but it can be seen in several other conditions as well.
there is big chances to get handicapped.... Thank To Allah nothing that bad has happened to her..but we r scared.. .because it can happen whenever..and there is no real 100% effective diagnosis for MS
is there anything we can recite or do for this?.... and my sister has lost the hope..she doesnt think anything can help her anymore..so is it okey if me and my mom recite the wazeefa instead of her?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Of course it is o.k. for someone like your mum or yourself, to recite waza'if on her behalf. But according to the book called shama' shabistan-e-Rida, which is attributed to the various ta'wiz of Imam Ahmad Rida Rehmatullahi ’Alaih, it is stated therein that for such an illness, the use of pure honey is very effective. Honey can be used in water, as well as giving it to her on it's own. It has such special properties, that as well as it being a sunnah of the Beloved Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, it also acts as a medicine for deseases, such as the one you have mentioned. It can also be used in the eyes to cleanse them and to give light to the dull vision of people. However, for further ta'wizat for this particular illness, one would need to contact his/her spiritual teacher, for the effectiveness of a ta'wiz. Such a person should be a specialist, who is an expert in writing, and has been granted permission for ta'wiz. May Allah the Almighty grant your sister shifa', as quickly as possible. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
