Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
i'd like to know if there is any meaning to dreams if you dream around 11 am, it's neither fajr or asr time.
Also if there is any significance to waking up with a thought as well as timing of that thought.
shukran.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
Praise be to Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Worlds, and Endless Blessings be upon our Last Messenger, the Mercy of the Worlds. (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).
There are meanings to dreams which are seen in different parts of the day. For example Hadrat Jabir Maghribi Radi Allahu anhu, has stated that the truest forms of dream, are those that are seen from around sehri time, until the sun rises.
A dream may be seen when the sun is up, this type of dream is a pious dream, a dream which shows you the true way, or a positive one.
The elucidation of a dream seen, in lets say spring, when the trees produce leaves, the flowers blossom, and when the fruits ripen, are good dreams, with a more positive interpretation, whereas those that are seen in the winter months while it is cold, the leaves of the trees have dropped, fruits are dry, then the decision on the interpretation of those dreams are weak.
In this sense it is o.k. to say that according to the seasons, the interpretation of dreams may differ.
Hadrat Danyal Alayhis Salam has said that a person who wants to know the meaning of his dream between the morn and noon, his dream shall be based on prosperity, luck, fortune, and piety, and if the meaning is required from the afternoon until nightfall, then it will be based upon mischief, and evil. However, on cloudy days, and in winter months, and at the times of sunset, and sunrise, then interpretations should not be asked about, during these times.
As far as thoughts are concerned, then these are still thoughts, until you are not 100% confident, that it was a dream. The interpretation of the dreams, and their times have been given above.
Finally, i recieved your message of thanks, and your explanation of the threads being seperate, yet you wanted them to be answered as one.
May Allah the Almighty make all your good dreams come true, and I pray that all the Muslims around the world, have fortunate lives according to Islam, and away from the shaytan.
Wallahu A'lamu Biththawaab.
