Assasalamu alaikum Imam Saab,
My question is what does it mean seeing a whale swimming happily in a river and also a man wearing white clothes and having a white beard with the whale. I was also in the river swimming quite relaxed. I see the river going to different direction and I was just observing. Please could you interprerate my dream for me.
Jazak Allah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Hadrat Ja'far Sadiq Radi Allahu anhu has stated that to see river in a dream is based on the following things: a) A king b) A governor c) A head d) wealth e) A scholar f) A great work Hadrat Ibn-e-Sirin Radi Allahu anhu has also a similar form of interpretation. He states that to see a river in a dream is to be a king or a scholar ('Alim). If the water of the river is clear, then the king will be just, and if it is dirty, then the interpretation is the opposite. If someone sees that they have drank the water of the river, it means that he will gain respect and honour from the king, or he will gain benefit from the scholar ('Alim). In relation to seeing a fish, then to see a fish in cold water denotes happiness and joy. If one then sees the fish to be big (whale), then this signifies the wealth taken from the spoils of war (mal-e-ghanimat). Hadrat Ibn-e-Sirin Radi Allahu anhu as also stated that to see a beautiful old man in clean clothes is to see this world and the next world. These were the few interpretations that I managed to find as a service to you. I hope that by these interpretations, it will make a difference for the betterment of our life in this world, and the next. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
