The imam stated that kind non-muslims will be damned to hell, and bad muslims will eventually attain paradise. Since most white people(europeans) are not muslim. Are you saying that most white people will go to hell? That seems crazy, dont you think?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,All Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved and Final Messenger Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam), his blessed Family, Noble Companions and Awliya Allah (May Allah bless them and give them peace) First of all, I would like you to clarify which Imam had stated that, kind non-Muslims shall be damned to hell? What may have been stated is that, Allah the Almighty, has the Power ( qudrah), to grant paradise to whom He wills, and send to the fire, whomever He wills. This is something which is totally in His Command. He may send to the fire, anyone who has all the outer characteristics of a good Muslim, yet the Muslim may have certain limited beliefs about the religion, or of the Prophets, or of Allah the Almighty, or He may grant paradise, to a Muslim even if he does not have the characteristics of a good Muslim, yet holds the belief, that there is One God, and Muhammad ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is the Final Messenger of God, and revers this, with upmost sincerity, and guards this belief, and upholds it's importance. In summary, to attain paradise, according to the religion of Islam, entails that one must have correct belief. The belief in One God, His Messengers, His Angels, His Books, the Day of Standing, and Reckoning, and so forth. Furthermore he must not doubt any of these at the slightest, and must act upon, and according to the teachings of the religion of Islam. He must be fair and equal to everyone, his neighbours, and his friends. He must be obedient towards his parents, teachers, and guides. He must seek to learn the religion of Islam, without the need of joining a particular group or sect, or practising the form of preaching which was not prescribed by the Messenger of Islam ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam). It is not necessary that a person is white, does not believe in the One God, and His Messengers, does all the good in his life, and still attains paradise. Because the condition of being a Muslim, which I have stated above, is very imporatant. You cannot claim to believe in paradise and hell, and not be a Muslim, you must have accepted the religion of Islam. These are a few of the points that I have put together, so that you may understand. I can only invoke Allah the Almighty, that may the Eternal Knowledge of the religion of Islam, reach all kinds of people, whether they are black, white, European, or Asian.Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM.
