Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Allah Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa SallamJazak'allah for your question. The gravestone of a grave should not be kissed, as it is not an object of worship, nor is it neccessary. Neither is it an object which should be kissed out of courtesy. The reverence, and respect, states that you stand well clear of this gravestone, and that you pray while standing, enter through the right way, and leave through the right way. There is no mention of kissing. May Allah the Almighty help us to respect in the correct way, and prevent us from making mistakes which may lead to falsehood. (Amin)Wallahu A'almu BiththawaabM.
