Mashallah - Beautiful ! The Hafiz-ul Qur'an (in my local Mosque) prays that du'a, with slightly different verses after Taraweeh prayers. Is this du'a complete or is there anymore to it, and is it online or in a book ?

Assalamo alaikum, thankyou for your comment's about the dua I agree it is beautifull, its from a naat book I have, which is written by Sayed Ghulam Husain Qadri Razvi, but dos,nt say who actually wrote the Dua. In the book its actually complete but as you can see the last two verses I added. The Prayer which can not be entertained is worthless and if you dont get any spiritual satisfaction out of a Dua its pointless, so to mention The Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam ,the Ahl-e-Bayt and Awliya,s of Allah S.W.T. in your Dua,s well what can I say you c'ant get more spritiual satisfaction and acceptance of Dua is 100% Ps. Im sure you can add your own verse on and mention your Pir's like I have done with Anjumn Ashrafi, line , If it needs correcting please feel free to say so as I am still learning.

Allah, ar-Rahman, ar-RahimAllah! Forgive my sins, my ignorance and my exceeding the boundaries or righteousness, and forgive those of my sins which You know better than I, O Allah! Forgive those of my sins of the past and those which I have committed thereafter, the ones I committed openly and those I committed secretly; You are the One who makes the things go before, and You are the One Who delays them, and You are the Omnipotent. another of my favourites,
Allahumma-aslih lee deeni-yal lazi huwa ismatu amri wa asleh lee dunya yallati feeha maashi wa asleh lee aakhiratallati feeha maadi waj alil hayata ziyadatal lee fee kulli khairin waj alil mauta raahatal lee min kulle sharin. AMEEN> Translation: Allah ! improve my religious life; for that is to be my refuge; and improve my worldly life, for I have to live it; and prepare me for the afterlife, to which I shall have to return; and make this life a mean to achieve every kind of good; and turn death into a bliss before any evil state, supervenes. Ameen.

The Philosophy of “DUA”
Dua is the weapon of a believer. It will protect you from the evils of enemies. Dua is the shield of a believer. It will increase your sustenance. Dua is more forceful than a sword. Dua replaces what has been destined and also creates that what has not been destined. Dua is a form of ibaadat. Dua removes both the present suffering and that which will come down later. Dua and sufferings challenge each other until the Day of Judgment, and Dua comes out victorious. Dua is so powerful that only Dua and nothing other than Dua itself has the power to create and alter fate!!
If God’s servant keeps his mouth shut and does not ask anything from Him, nothing will be given to him. Therefore ask God for what you need so that He will give it to you. Whoever knocks on a door persistently will be allowed in. If you keep on knocking the door of Divine Mercy, sooner or later it will be opened for you.
Never get tired of Dua, for Allah has attached much value to it. Allah says “Let My servants know that I have the power to grant My servants’ wishes.” If God grants someone a chance of making Dua, He will not deprive him of answer. A believer’s Dua will increase his good deeds and rewards him in the Hereafter as his other good deeds are rewarded.
A believer who makes Dua receives one of three things: 1. Either he will quickly have his Dua answered, 2. or he will get in the Hereafter, 3. or something bad will be prevented from him equal to the value of his Dua.
Everything has a proper discipline to it, and so does Dua. Duas are not answered when requirements of Dua have not been fulfilled. Whoever obeys Allah’s order and offers his Dua properly, they will be answered. Praise Allah Almighty. Remember Him and thank Him for His blessings. Send greetings to the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam). Pray your Salaat regularly (Muslim Teens, Day 8). Recite Qur’an regurarly (Day 11). Seek Tauba (Day 16). Attain Taqwa (Day 17). That is the right way for Dua. Dua which is not made properly does not even ascend towards Allah.
It may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you. At such times, refer to He who knows the best, and that is Allah. Allah knows, while we do not know. So we must make Dua to Allah, then be patient, have faith in His unquestionable decision and trust His absolute wisdom. Never have this impression that Allah Almighty has opened the door of making Dua but has closed the door of answering it. Sometimes Allah delays answering the Dua to give a greater reward and a further blessing. What a catastrophe it would be if Allah answered every prayer at the snap of your fingers. Do you know what would happen? Allah would become your servant, not your Master. Suddenly Allah would be working for you, instead of you working for Allah. Remember, Allah's delay is not Allah's denial. Allah's timing is perfect. Patience and trust is needed.
It would be impossible to sum up everything about Dua in this extremely brief one page article. If we were to summarize the whole concept of Dua into one single statement, it would be this: Dua is a form of Ibaadat, such a powerful Ibaadat that it can create and alter Qismat, and that Allah is generous and if His servant raises his hands towards Him, He feels reluctant not to accept it.

After seeing the daily dua thread on the youth board, I thought I'd reap this one up again and bring some life back to it. You are most welcome to add as you go along.
PRAYERS FOR THIS WORLD AND THE HEREAFTER.
Allahummaghfirli warhamni wa afeni warzuqni !
O Allah! forgive me, take pity upon me, presrve me, and grant me sustenance.
Allahumma ahsin aqibatana fil umoore kulleha wa ajirna min khizyid-dunya wa azaabil aakhirate.
O Allah! make sublime in their outcome; all our actions; and save us from disgrace in this world, and save from the chastisement in the Hereafter.

Great idea! For RELIEF In HARDSHIP: Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja-althau sahlan wa anta taja-lul hazna sahlan iza shaita. O Allah! there is nothing easy except what thou so maketh and Thou maketh the difficult easy, whatsoever Thou liketh. I usually pray this when in need and it works.!

For Forgivness.
O Allah! the extant of thy forgivness is far wider as compared to my sins and the extant of Thy mercy is a matter of greater hope for me than my deed.

Subhanallah, another great thread,
Dua is the weapon of the believer! I pinched that from one of the above post ,! soory bro, but it sums it up.
O Allah, the Pardoner! Grant us the intercession of the Prophet (p.b.u.h.)
"Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: for Thou art the All-Hearing, The All Knowing.
"Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: for Thou art the All -Hearing, The All Knowing. Ans turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Most Merciful.
"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.
"Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter. And save us from the torment of the Fire!"
"Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.

Bismillahiramanirahim.
O Allah! It is but your grace that I the sinful Faqir (furqaan) have been able to post threads on this website.I have nothing-neither Knowledge nor piety. I have one and only support-the link- is my love for the Prophet (SALLALLAHU-ALAHI-WASSALAM)). O Allah! make it the means of my redemption.
My piety is weak, staggering I have nothing but embarrasment.
May my love for My Beloved Prophet (p.b.u.h.) last forever!
This is the Only support I Have.

Good Idea! sister ashiqerasool,
You adults should know your dua's as well as we youngsters. ;D
Here is my contribution to the adults thread.
Before we pray we say:
O Allah! Separate me (far) from my sins as you have separated (far) the East and West. O Allah! Cleanse me of my sins as white cloth is cleansed from dirt. O Allah! Wash me of my sins with water, ice and snow.

Some good Duas here not sure if i'll remember them all.
Anyway heres my contribution:
D U 'A
Please remember those less fortunate than yourself, those in dire need and those facing hardship when making du'a
"And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way"
[surah al-Baqarah; 2:186]
