Assalam-o-Alaikum,
Muhaddith al-A'zam Mission (Blackburn) U.K have confirmed a Hilal Moon sighting in South Africa through one of their contacts, so therefore we shall be celebrating Eid al-Fitr tomorrow Sunday 14th November 2004.
I would like to wish all of our viewers, guests and many members Eid Mubarak in advance, and to thank you for your continued support.
Eid, in Islam, is a day of joy, thanksgiving, worship, brotherhood, solidarity, and morality. A Muslim should take advantage of this day to bring himself nearer to Allah, Most High.
The Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam peace and blessings be upon him, says: “Every nation has its festival, and this is your festival.” Here, he referred to the fact that these two `Eids are exclusively for the Muslims.
Wa-assalam
Ghulam Mustufa
