This beautiful Holy month of ramadan is leaving us. lets all take time out to reflect on this aupicious month. We might not have the chance next year!
Time to forgive and forget, and remember all the people around the world who are suffering now, as I right this!
The women and children and elderly who have lost a loved one, the child made an orphan, the elderly who have lost young healthy sons .......
Pray for them as the Blessed Eid dawns upon us, ...... I leave you with these thoughts and ......
Eid Mubarak.

Reflections indeed on this blessed day of Jumah t'al Widah. What will the future hold and bring to the ummat? ......as long as our tongues and actions are in Dhikr towards Allah Ajwaajal who cares......
"Each heart has its own passing cloud, just as the moon when it is shining and there comes a cloud that replaces its brightness and darkness. Whenever it (the cloud) moves on, it (the moon) will shine yet again."
[Abu Nu`am & As-Silsilah As-Sahihah].

You should pray and make dua as it is your last day in this zindagee, just like you should have prayed and fasted as if this was your last mahe sawyam.
Will you be here next Ramadan ? only the Master and Creator of the Universe knows !

We can only keep on praying and do more dua for ALL of mankind to remember their maker. I agree. But this remembrance of Allah needs to be constant....today, everyday and always - no matter what time of day, what time of year or situation. Alhamdollilah, many of us have refrained from sins and shameful deeds over the blessed month of Ramadhan. We have prayed 5 times Salah, made Qura'an tilawat, helped the needy and poor, and many sisters even took the initiative of wearing hijab. But now that Ramadhan is over, notice how our actions begin to differ. I would just like to give us all something to think about by stating the following: [glow=red,2,300]"Islam is for life, not just for Ramadhan"[/glow] May Allah give us the courage and guidance to follow the Sirat-ul-Mustaqeem at all times. Ameen!

Excellent thread sister ashiqerasool,
The blessed month has left us, and its sad its taken its noor with it. But a very good point , lets not forget our prayers, and our muslim brothers and sisters suffering around the world.
Like the Imam of my mosque said now that ramzan has gone, its sad that the mosque dont fill up like they used to for Taravih prayers!
Why!

A good thread, but sadly it is true, soon as ramazan passes, everybody is back to their mundane life, ie; normal routine, telly is back on, generally out and about more, stopping to chat, therefore idle gossip...
So less time for Prayers and dikhr of the heart, Shaytan creeping in working his finger to the bone! But a good note we,ve got this website, to remind us of our daily duties, to keep us in steadfast in prayer and educate us in religion more! Ameen! Keep up the good work Admin,.... Mashallah!

This 'back to normal routine' after Ramadan Kareem has completed its blessed course, is mentioned not only in Mosques in Britain, but in Masjids throughout the world. It is a sad parody of our lifes in this dunya. Let us think and be thankful for Ramadan Shareef and for people returning their attention to their faith rather then going astray had it not been for Ramadan.

Yeh exactly the scarves are all off at college! Well said sister safia, But like bro simnani says, at least we had the chance in this beautiful month to pray and repent. This one month which stops you from straying, Sad as it might be that we dont carry on........ very good thread sister ashiqerasool, really did make me stop and think.

asalamu alaykum warahmatahu wabarakatahu,
If i may add, the answer lies in the compulsive nature of attending Eid Salat, which is Wajib upon all Muslims. Very few if any Muslims will miss this.
If you were to attend any Mosque on this Eid morning you will see it packed out, with Muslims you never even knew lived in your town. Its the same every Eid, they are usually the ones who arrive late and grumble at the lack of parking space, etc and are first to leave almost as if they didnt want to be there ? as soon as the sallam and dua is over they disappear into the smoke of their expensive cars and arent seen until the next Eid.
I sometimes wander why do these people even bother !

Assalamo alaikum, thankyou sister ashiqerasool, you have given all of us something to think about!
Its al very well to say Islam is for life , and we all know that, but sadly that is not the case, as you can see from all the post. But lets all pray we all unite and bond as fellow muslim brothers and sisters, and spread the message of Islam peacefully!
A very good thread! Al widah ramadan!
