Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Made ghusal and arrive at Masjid Nabwi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam for zuhar, youngest comes with me eldest goes with his father, to my horror I am not allowed to go inside because my son who is 6 is baligh , no arguing with the Saudi’s it’s like talking to a brick wall, even my son was upset, he said I can’t believe it I was exciting to come to Masjid Nabwi and now I can’t go in, the security man knew I was angry I told him our Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Loved children and you are stopping them from visiting him and have you no fear making all these young vulnerable children to sit outside in this boiling heat? He went inside his cabin and bought sweets for my son who refused him, then he got my son cold bottled water which I kindly took off him, I read namaaz in the court yard. After that incident my youngest son had to go in the men’s section.
I went to do ziyarah and pay my respects and give lots of salaam from everyone to my Beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam it was truly amazing the whole atmosphere at the Roza Mubarak was sensational. Read nawafil at Riyadah Jannah (garden from heaven) made lots of dua.
The men visited the Roza Mubarak at every namaaz, my youngest son used to recite Darood Shareef loudly which pleased many and his cheeks were pulled much to his annoyance luckily no one shouted biddah/shirk at him.
We all stayed in Masjid Nabwi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam from Maghrib till Isha which was very pleasant made many friends from Bradford, this was the time that quran recitation was mainly done by me al hamdulilla I completed 1 Quran Shareef and 10 paras in Madina Shareef.
We took a stroll around masjid Nabwi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam after Isha and dinner, just sit in the court yard staring at Gumbade Hazra and reciting Darood shareef the night view was sensational.
It was so beautiful to see young children residents of Madina shareef running and playing so happily in the court yard, my sons often used to join them and my youngest used to ask the children "Ma ismu ka?? (what is your name in Arabic) hope I have said that right?
To be continued.
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Iftari time today as its Thursday and many are fasting as its sunnah to fast on a Thursday, iftari time was very nice, the women insisted we did Iftari with them even though we were not fasting, the kava (tea) , bread and dates were yummy. 22nd May 2009
Jumma Mubarak today the boys wore their new white jubbas and are very excited arrived at Masjid Nabwi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam very early , I read Salatul Tasbeeh and various sura’s. The khutba which I did not understand but the Imam was very emotional and crying later it got translated by a Pakistani who spoke Arabic she said the Imam said the suffering in the world was due to us (people) sinning, couple of days ago not very far from Madina Shareef there was an earthquake, and the Imam requested that we do good and refrain from sinning to avoid such disasters.
23rd May 2009
Went to do ziyarah around Madina Shareef, first went to see a well that Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam visited and drank from which is now boarded up.
Then went to visit Hazrat Salman Farsi’ Radi Allahu anhu s date garden, plenty of dates on the trees.
Visited Masjid jumma (a mosque where the first jumma was read).
Next stop Masjid Quba which carries endless sawaab.
Read nawafil very pleased as its Saturday and its Sunnah to visit Masjid Quba on a Saturday as our Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam did. Read nawafil as 2 nawafil carry the reward of an umra. Mash Allah.
We also visited the mosque where Hazrat Umar Radi Allahu anhu use to lead namaaz from. We read nawafil in this historian Mosque.
Visited Uhud the place where Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallams teeth were shaheed, did fateha at Hazrat Hamza Radi Allahu anhu the uncle of Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam grave and also where the 66 sahaba e karaam were shaheed.
Final stop at Masjid Qiblatain (the mosque with 2 qiblas one towards Baitul muqaddas and the other Kaaba Shareef) read nawafil here too.
More to come inshAllah...
