Here are some interesting facts regard the most Blessed Ahle Bait
It was Halaal(permissible) for Hazrat Ali(the only man) to enter Masjid even in the state of ceremonial impurity(janabat).
"Truly whoever abused the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)(Sallal Laahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) or ascribed any fault to him or attributed any defect to his family, religion or his habit, or reproached him, or compared the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)(Sallal Laahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) with any defective thing with the objective of degrading his personality and prestige, he is truly an abusive person and deserves to be executed. We make absolutely no exception to this verdict, whether the insult has been committed intentionally or unintentionally. This has been the verdict of all the Ulama of the Umma from the time of the Companions to the present day." (Qadi Ayyad - Shifa, V2 P214)

Hazrat Imam Ali alayhis 'salam Says: "Verily, there are three (types of) friends for a Muslim,
The friend who says: I am with you whether you are alive or dead', and this is his deed. The friend who says: I am with you unto the threshold of your grave and then I will leave you', and this is his children. The friend who says: I will be with you until when you die', and this is his wealth which will belong to the inheritors when he dies."

MashaAllah, i dont think one can even compile the greatness of Ahle Bait even if we write continusly for our whole life time. Allah Helps with the Hand of Ali Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said this about Hazrat Ali alayhis 'salam “Allah solves the difficulty through his hand.” (Mishkaat, page 563). The “Fataah” (Actual solving of difficulties) is Allah alone, but solves through the hand of Ali alayhis 'salam. At many places Hazrat Umar Radi Allahu anhu said “Umar would have got killed if Ali didn’t help.” (Al-Isti’aab fi Ismaa al-Ashaab, volume 3, page 39). In “As-Sawaaiq al-Muharriqa, page 127” it is stated with reference to Ibn Sa’ad “Umar bin Khattab used to ask refuge to Allah in getting difficulty when Ali is not present for it” Ziker e Ali is Ibadat (Talking/Speaking/Remembering our Maula):Hz Aishah alayhis 'salam narrates that Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "The best of my brothers is `Ali, the best of my paternal uncles is Hamzah, and remembrance of 'Ali and speaking about him is worship." Deed e Ali is Ibadat (Looking at Maula) :Hz Aishah narrates that she said: "I saw my father (Abu Bakr Radi Allahu anhu) gazing often at 'Ali's face. I said: `O my father! I see you gazing often at 'Ali's face.' He said: `O my daughter! I heard the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam say: "Looking at the face of `Ali is worship."' Love for Ali is Ibadat! Anas ibn Malik Radi Allahu anhu says: "Every day, one of the children of the Ansar would do some task for the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. One day my turn came. Umm Ayman Radi Allahu anhu brought a chicken dish before the Prophet and said: `Messenger of Allah! I have caught this chicken myself and cooked it for you.' He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: `O God! Send the best of (Thy) slaves that he may share with me in eating this chicken.' At that very moment someone knocked on the door and the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said to me: `Anas! Open the door.' I said: `May God make it a man of the Ansar!' But I found 'Ali alayhis 'salam in front of the door, and I said: `The Prophet is busy.' Then I returned to stand in my place. Again there was a knock at the door, and the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: `Open the door.' Again I prayed that it would be someone from the Ansar. I opened the door and again it was 'Ali alayhis 'salam. I said: `The Prophet is busy.' Then I returned to stand in my place. Yet again there was a knock at the door, and the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: `Anas, go and open the door, and bring him in. You are not the first person to love your own people; that is not one of the Ansar.' I went and brought 'Ali alayhis 'salam in, and he ate the chicken dish with the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam." Distance from Ahl ul Bait alayhis 'salamMuslim, Tirmizi and Nasai have recorded from Zaid bin Arqam that the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (Sall Allahu ‘alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim.) said: “Fear Allah! Beware that you do not distance yourself from my Ahle Bayt.” The same tradition is recorded in Sahih Muslim in the chapter of the excellences of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (Karam Allahu wajhahu). The Messenger of Allah (Sall Allahu ‘alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim.) has repeated the words “Fear Allah” thrice. Service to Maula, is Service to Prophet, Service to Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is Service to Allah One day when the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was sleeping with his head in Ali alayhis 'salam's lap, the time of "Asr" (afternoon prayers) had passed. Informed by Divine revelation that he had caused Ali alayhis 'salam to miss his prayers, the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "Verily, Ali alayhis 'salam was busy in the service of God and His Apostle. O Lord! Command Thy sun not to set yet and to come back into the world again so as to enable Ali alayhis 'salam to perform his prayers." The Sun re-appeared forthwith until Ali alayhis 'salam had finished his prayers. Theres this thread, if you can contribute there too > ashraf786.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=ahlebayt&thread=22371&page=1===== YA MURTAZA ! YOU ARE OUR GUIDE! THE WORLD NEEDS YOU! ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
SubhanAllah a beautiful thread in rememberance of the Ahle Bait especially Maula Ali Radi Allahu anhu.
Some Quotes by Maula Ali Radi Allahu anhu.
If you overpower your enemy, then pardon him by way of thankfulness to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala , for being able to subdue him.
Unfortunate is he who cannot gain a few sincere friends during his life and more unfortunate is the one who has gained them and then lost them (through his deeds).
Live amongst people in such a manner that if you die they weep over you and if you are alive they crave for your company.
A wise man first thinks and then speaks and a fool speaks first and then thinks.
Be generous but not extravagant, be frugal but not miserly.
The best kind of wealth is to give up inordinate desires.
Be afraid of a gentleman when he is hungry, and of a mean person when his stomach is full.
Man is a wonderful creature; he sees through the layers of fat (eyes), hears through a bone (ears) and speaks through a lump of flesh (tongue).
May the love for the Ahle Bait live in our hearts forever, may we all respect them ameen summa ameen.
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Salam Alaykum,
Again there is a need to provide references for some of the things mentioned as narrations in some of the posts above.
Note that I am not saying this simply for the sake of saying it, but providing references is the only way in which an investigation can be made by the appropriately qualified people as to whether the things mentioned are true narrations or whether there are problems with it.

Brother, are you blind or something? The references are posted there yet you keep asking for them in every thread. The above posted, are some of the most famous narrations. Ive heard them on tv/internet alot of times. I wonder why havent u? Never hurd/read anything about Ahl e Bait ever in your life On the other hand, what problems does your highly intellectual brain can think of with the above narrations? Just because they praise Ahl e bait. Regards Wasalam

Many times narrations may be used which are dubious or even inauthentic for the purpose of "showing noble qualities" or the like. If there is an Aalim or Hadith scholar on this site/forum who certifies what is posted, then it would be a great help for us laymen. If there is none here then the question may be posed on other forums or sites to see what the response is.

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Rahim
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Assalaatu Wassalaamu Alayka Ya Rasoolallah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam
The Fatah is also related to the Battle of Khaibar and can be confirmed by the following and some more Ahadith Shareef if needed:
Hazrat Sah'l Bin Sa'd (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) Sey Marvi Hai Ke Huzur (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) Ney Jung e Khaybar Ke Mauqe Par Farmaya "Kal Ye Jhanda Mein Eik Shakhs Ke Haanth Ko Doungaa Jis Ke Kanth Par Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Fatah Ataa Farmaey Gaa" (Mishkaat Page 563)
Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Hadith Number 5915.
Chapter : The Merits of 'Ali bin Abi Talib (Alayhis Salaam)
This Hadith Shareef has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha) with the same chain of transmitters. Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyin (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) appointed Sa'd (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali Alayhis Salaam), whereupon he said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camel. I heard Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) say about 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam) as he left behind him in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam) said to Him: Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam), you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron (Alayhis Salaam) was unto Moses (Alayhis Salaam) but with this exception that there is no prophethood after Me. And I (also) heard Him (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) love him too. He (the narrator) said: We have been anxiously waiting for it, when He (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: Call 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam). He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: "Let us summon our children and your children." Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain (Alayhimus Salaam) and said: O Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, They are My Family.
Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Hadith Number 5918.
Chapter : The Merits of 'Ali bin Abi Talib (Alayhis Salaam)
Sahl b. Sa'd (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu)reported that Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) said on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person at whose hand Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala would grant victory and who loves Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) love him also. The people spent the night thinking as to whom it would be given. When it was morning the people hastened to Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) all of them hoping that that would be given to him. He (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: Where is 'Ali b. Abu Talib (Alayhis Salaam)? They said: Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam), his eyes are sore. He (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) then sent for him and he was brought and Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) applied saliva to his eyes and invoked blessings and he was all right, as if he had no ailment at all, and conferred upon him the standard. 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam) said: Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam), I will fight them until they are like us. Thereupon He (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: Advance cautiously until you reach their open places, thereafter invite them to Islam and inform them what is obligatory for them from the rights of Allah, for, by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, if Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala guides aright even one person through you that is better for you than to possess the most valuable of the camels.
Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Hadith Number 5919.
Chapter : The Merits of 'Ali bin Abi Talib (Alayhis Salaam)
Salama b. Akwa' (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) reported that it was 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam) whom Allah's Apostle (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) left behind him (in the charge of His Family and the Islamic State) on the occasion of the campaign of Khaibar, and his eyes were inflamed and he said: Is it for me to remain behind Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam)? So he went forth and rejoined Allah's Apostle (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) and on the evening of that night (after which) next morning Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala granted victory. Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: I will certainly give this standard to a man whom Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) love or He said: Who loves Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala or His Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will grant Him (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) victory through him (Alayhis Salaam), and, lo, we saw 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam) whom we least expected (to be present on that occasion). They (the Companions) said: Here is 'Ali (Alayhis Salaam). Thereupon Allah's Messenger (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) gave him the standard. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala granted victory at his hand.
