Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
After the popularity of the Ramadan diaries I have been asked to do something similar for Milad un Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, slightly different no need to sign up, and this time we can write about anything to do with milad shareef, i.e any milad mehfil you attend or host, ziyaraah of the Mueh mubarak etc etc as well as 12 Rabi ul awwal the birth date of our Beloved Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.
Do share your days throughout the blessed month of Rabi ul Awwal.
InshAllah I will be writing about my Milad zikar/mehfil that is tommorow night for brothers where al hamdulilla I am fortunate to have the Mueh Mubarak at my house
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
I had milad/zikar mehfil and Ziyarah of the Blessed Mueh Mubarak last night (saturday 28th Feb) for brothers in which I had many unexpected guests but al hamdulilla all went so smoothly and I am still on cloud nine.
It all began on Wednesday night where all my decorations, flags, lights, went up. The cleaning/shopping was done on Friday lunch time.
The menu was supposed to be simple according to my nephews, but I ended up making, Gosht Roti, chick pea rice, Southern Fried Chicken, Samosas, Raita, Chutney, Potato Pakoras, Carrot Halwa, various soft drinks, olives, ajwa kajoor, fruit platter and Jalebi.
All the food preparations was done on Saturday morning, we went to get flowers I wanted to get roses to put on the table where the Mueh Mubarak was to be placed.
The boys were ready at 5pm, all the tea lights were switched on, maghrib salah was read my first guest arrived which was my elder brother who was in charge of welcoming guests.
I heard eveyrone reciting Ya Nabi Salam alyka Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, I am blessed my home is blessed sarkar e Do Alam Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam have come to this gunaghaar’s house feel very emotional and also another special guest has come my dear mother who after months has come to my house , my youngest had to look after his nani as there was no other women and I was needed in the kitchen.
Our Imam from the mosque also have come, my ustaad (who are blessed with keeping the mueh Mubarak at their home) are here plus many other men from the mosque.
Naaths were recited Dua is done where 2 Quran shareefs and 101200 Darood Shareef was presented special dua was done for Peer Naseer ud din Rahmatullahi 'alayh sahib. Ziyarah of the Mueh Mubarak is done various salaam was recited. Followed by food.
My ustaad I wanted to gift them something special as every year without fail they bring the Mueh Mubark to my house Qari sahib are mureeds of Hazrat Shaykh ul Islam Madni Miya sahib recently I ordered 2 tafsirs one for myself and one for my dear father and all of a sudden I decided to give my copy to Qari Sahib, once the Tafsir of the Quran shareef was presented to them they became very emotional and very pleased as they had wanted it, they said its the best gift they have had after ages.
My final quests leave leaving me so tired but on a high. Remaining cleaning was done today, my house smells so beautiful and its so peaceful really wonderful feeling and atmosphere knowing that my Beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam has attended my house. SubhanAllah!!! and it was wonderful to see how my sons participated throughout this milad, especially the youngest who kept on telling everyone the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam are coming to our house, do pray that this love for our Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is instilled in their hearts forever ameen.
So people do share your events whether it is milad at home or at someones elses house as well milad programmes at the mosque.
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhuok here goes my diary for today: planned to give my family a milad mehfil so had to start cooking in the morning which is when i realised that i have no onions hubbys asleep as he did night shift so i can't even tell him to get me some more until he wakes up!!! kids are driving me nuts and the baby is refusing to go to sleep at his usual time so i just let him carry on playing until he tires himself out. get a phone call from a very nice sister and obviously have 7 different chats as usual with our dear sister nomee finally hubby is awake so he goes and gets the onions for me and other little bits and bobs. he comes back and we eat (finally ) boys and hubby go to see muiy mubarak at mosque i can't go because baby finally decides to go to sleep just as they are leaving (oh well will be seeing on sunday the 15th anyway) they come back and all my cooking is done so we take a quick trip to the shops before my guests arrive. finally back home and putting the finishing touches on the food and my brothers come along with my bhabi's and nephews (phew full house as there's now 11 of us in my little flat) we all sit down and pray durood shareef and little owais turns on the fairy lights as everyone arrives. the boys all Mashallah pray with us and are treated with jelly pudding things which everyone enjoyed. after fatiha i start serving the food and Alhamdollilah everything goes down well (no surprise there seeing as i'm an excellent cook ;D ) we had naan ghost, samosas, tandoori chicken, mix barfi and various juices and snacks. after cleaning up i serve dessert which is a lovely mango desert that i basically tried for the first and turned out excellent finished with sweet paan. then everyone goes home and now i'm shattered and writing this up so if i've bored you well tough as i'm not even sure what i'm writing right now.....;D
