Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH
Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam said, "Fasting is half patience. There is alms (zakat) due on all things and the zakat of the body is fasting." In another Hadith it is reported that Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam said, "Sleeping is worship for one who is fasting, his silence is rosary (tasbeeh), and all his deeds are accepted."

Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu anhu reported that the Prophet, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, said " The blessed month has come to you. Allah has made fasting during it obligatory upon you. During it the gates to Paradise are opened and the gates of Hellfire are locked, and the devils are chained. There is a night [during this month] which is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of its good is really deprived [of something great]. [Ahmad, an-Nisa'i and al-Bayhaqi]

Abu Hurairah ( Radi Allahu anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, "He who spends a pair in the way of Allah will be called from the gates of Jannah: `O slave of Allah! This gate is better for you' and one who is constant in Salat (prayer), will be called from the Gate of Salat; and whoever is eager in fighting in the Cause of Allah, will be called from the Gate of Jihad; and who is regular in observing Saum will be called from Ar-Raiyan Gate. The one who is generous in charity will be called from the Gate of Charity.''Hazrat Abu Bakr ( Radi Allahu anhu) said: "O Messenger of Allah ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)! May my mother and father be sacrificed for you! Those who are called from these gates will stand in need of nothing. Will anybody be called from all of those gates?'' He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, "Yes, and I hope that you will be one of them.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAHOur Beloved Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "When any of you sleeps, Satan ties three knots at the back of his head. On each knot he repeats and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay asleep.' If you wake up and remember Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, one knot is undone and if you perform ablution the second knot is undone and if you pray, the third knot is undone, and you get up in the morning full of energy and with a clear heart. Otherwise, you will get up feeling lazy and with a muddled heart." [Bukhari]

Allaah's Messenger , salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, described the morning after Lailatul-Qadr, so that the Muslim may know which day it is. From Ubayy, radhiya Allahu 'anhu, who said: that he, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, said: "On the morning following Lailatui-Qadr the sun rises not having any rays, as if it were a brass dish, until it rises up."
[Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmithi and Ibn Majah]
