Abdullah ibn `Amr Radi Allahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, said: "The fast and the Qur'an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: 'O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.' And their intercession will be accepted." [Ahmad] Yaa Rahim Huwal Rahim Haq Rahim

`A’isha (radiyallâhu `anhâ), the mother of the faithful believers narrated: “One night Allah’s Messenger (sallallâhu `alayhi wa Alihî wa sallam) offered [supererogatory] prayer in the Mosque and the people followed him. The following night he also offered the prayer and more people gathered [behind him in prayer]. On the third or the fourth night the people gathered once more, but Allah’s Messenger (sallallâhu `alayhi wa Alihî wa sallam) did not come out to them. In the morning he said, ‘I saw what you were doing and nothing but the fear that it (i.e. the Tarâwîh prayer) might be made obligatory upon you, stopped me from coming to you.’ And that happened in the month of Ramadan.” (Muttafaqun `alayh – this is Bukhârî’s wording)
Imâm Ibn Khuzayma and Imâm Ibn Hibbân add: “The Messenger of Allah (sallallâhu `alayhi wa Alihî wa sallam) used to encourage Qiyâm prayer in Ramadân (Tarâwîh) without commanding them to observe it, and would say: “Whoever stood in prayer during Ramadân out of sincere faith, and seeking rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.” When Allah’s Messenger (sallallâhu `alayhi wa Alihî wa sallam) died, this was the practice, and it continued during Abû Bakr’s caliphate and the early part of `Umar’s caliphate. It continued until `Umar (radiyallâhu `anhu) gathered them behind Ubayy ibn Ka`b who would lead the people in prayer. This was the starting point of people congregating for the Qiyâm/Tarâwîh prayer of Ramadân [behind one imam for the entire period of the month].”
Imâm [Ibn Hajar] al-`Asqalânî in his “at-Talkhîs” mentions: “He (sallallâhu `alayhi wa Alihî wa sallam) led the people with 20 rak`ats of Tarâwîh for two nights. The people gathered again on the third night, but he did not come out to them. In the morning he said, ‘I feared that it (the Tarâwîh prayer) might become obligatory upon you and you wouldn’t have to strength to [perform] it [continuously throughout Ramadân].”

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) was the most generous amongst all the people and his generosity was most evident in the month of Ramadaan, at the time when he used to meet with Jibraeel alaihis salaam, and he would meet with Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) on every night of Ramadaan and recite the Quran. When the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) used to meet with Jibraeel (alaihis salaam), he used to be even more generous than excessive wind.”

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH
"It is on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said,” If a person (Muslim) keeps fast for one day solely for the pleasure of Allah, then Almighty Allah will keep him such a vast distance away from hell, as if he started to fly from childhood until he became old. (In other words, this is how far away he would be kept from Jahanum, the distance covered in flying for all his life)

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Hazrat Jibreel alayhis 'salam used to repeat the recitation of the Qur’an with the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam once a year, but he repeated it twice with him in the year he Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam died. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam used to stay in I’tikaaf for ten days every year (in the month of Ramadhan), but in the year of his death, he Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam stayed in I’tikaaf for twenty days. ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
According to the Companion `Ubadah ibn al-Samit Radi Allahu anhu the beloved noble Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam used to say upon entering this month:
Allahumma sallimnee li ramadana wa sallim ramadana wa sallimhu minnee mutaqabbilan.
"O Allah, greet and save me for Ramadan; greet and save Ramadan; greet and save Ramadan on my behalf, and grant me its acceptance."

‘A’ishah Radi Allahu anha narrated:
I once asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, what should I say if I have knowledge of which night is Laylat al-Qadr?’ He replied, ‘Say these words: O Allah, thou art forgiving, loving forgiveness. So forgive me.’

(Bukhari) can anyone explain the meaning of this hadith? Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuSister Warda, this is another narration of the Hadith Shareef with a specification about in what was our Beloved Nabi (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) more/most generous than/like the excessive/blowing wind:Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Hadith Number 5718.
Chapter : Sayyidinah Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam was the most generous of people; His generosity was like the blowing of wind.Hazrat Ibn 'Abbas Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu reported that Sayyidinah Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam was the most generous of people in charity, but he was generous to the utmost in the month of Ramadhan. Hazrat Jibrail (Alayhis Salaam) would meet him every year during the month of Ramadhan until it ended, and Sayyidinah Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam recited to him the Qur'an; and when Hazrat Jibrail (Alayhis Salaam) met Him, Sayyidinah Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam was most generous in giving charity like the blowing wind. Hope it's clear in your mind now
