15 Recommended Prostrations For Reciting The Noble Qur'an-e-paak.
There are fifteen places In the Noble Quran where prostration is recommended once a Muslim recites any of those verses. This applies whether one is reciting the Quran in prayer or outside prayer. He has to stop reciting and prostrate himself. Along with the usual tasbeeh, a Muslim is recommended to say in Arabic: "O Allah! Accept this from me as You accepted it from your slave Dawood."
For the benefit of Muslims here are the different verses where prostration is recommended. We will start in order from the beginning off the Noble Quran to the end:
Al-A'raf (Chapter 7, Verse 206): "Those who are near to your Lord, disdain not to do Him worship; they celebrate His Praises and to Him they prostrate themselves."
Al-Ra'd (chapter 13, Verse 15): "Whatever beings there are in the heavens and the earth do prostrate themselves to Allah with goodwill or inspite of themselves: so do their shadows in the mornings and evenings."
Al-Nahl (Chapter 16, Verses 49-50): "And unto Allah prostrate all that is in heavens and on earth, whether moving living creatures or the angels: for none are arrogant (before their Lord). They all fear their Lord High above them, and they do all that they are commanded."
Al-Israa' (Chapter 17, Verses 107-109): "Say: 'Whether you believe in it or not' It is true that these who were given knowledge beforehand, when it is recited to them fall down on their faces in humble prostration and they say: 'Glory to our Lord. Truly the promise of our Lord has been fulfilled.' They fall down on their faces in tears, and it increases their earnest humility."
Maryam (Chapter 19, Verse 58): "Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah bestowed His Grace of the posterity of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Ibrahim and Israel - of those whom We guided and chose; whenever the Signs of Allah Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears."
Al-Hajj (Chapter 22, Verse 18): "Don't you see that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth - the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the animals, and a great number among mankind? But a great number are also such as are fit for punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace, none can raise to honor: for Allah carried out all that He wills."
Al-Hajj (chapter 22, verse 77): "O you who believe! Bow down, prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord; and do good so that you may prosper."
Al-Furqan (Chapter 25, Verse 60): "When it is said to them: 'Prostrate yourselves to the Most Gracious', they say: 'What is the Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate ourselves to that which you command us?' And it increases their flight from the Truth."
Al-Naml (Chapter 27, Verses 2-27): "I found there a woman ruling over them provided with every requisite; and she has a magnificent throne. I found her and her people prostrating themselves to the sun away from Allah; the Devil has made their deeds seem pleasing to their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path - so they receive no guidance - that they should not prostrate themselves to Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you hide and what you reveal. Allah! there is no god but He! Lard of the Throne Supreme."
Al-Sajdah (chapter 32, Verse 15): "Only those who believe in Our Signs, who, when they are reminded of them (through recitation) fall down in prostration and celebrate the praises of their Lord; nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride."
Saad (Chapter 38, Verse 24): "(Dawood) said: 'He has undoubtedly wronged you in demanding your single ewe to be added to his flock of ewes; truly many are the partners who wrong each other: Not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are, they?' Dawood then gathered that We had tried him: so he asked forgiveness of his Lord, fell down bowing in prostration and turned to Allah in repentance."
Fussilat (Chapter 41, Verses 37-38): "And among His Signs are the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon. Don't prostrate yourselves to the Sun and the Moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them if it is Him you wish to worship. If however, they are arrogant, those who are in the presence of your Lord celebrate His praises by night and by day and they never flag."
Al-Najm (Chapter 53, Verse 62): "Do you then wonder at this recital? And will you laugh and not weep, wasting your time in vanities? Rather fall down in prostration to Allah and worship Him (alone)!"
Al-lnshiqaq (Chapter 84, Verse 21): "What then is the matter with them, that they do not believe? And when the Quran is recited to them they fall not prostrate?'
Al-'Alaq (Chapter 96, Verse 19): "Knows he not that Allah does see? Nay. let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock - a lying, sinful forelock! Then let him call for help to his council (of comrades): We will call on the angels of punishment. Nay: had him not. But bow down in prostration and bring yourself the closer (to Allah)."

A fascinating story brother jamil about beggars and their lucrative dealings. My first experience was during Umra approx 10 years ago and then in Lahore at Data Darbar. Initial reaction is of total schock and horror to see some of them in the most horrendous injuries and disabilities and one cannot help but pity them especially when they are 'bikharees' by the Tomb of a Great Wali Allah. I would like to convey a little story i vaguely remember delivered by 'Hadrat Sultanul Wa'izeen' Moulana Abul Noor M Bashir Saheb of Kotli in Pakistan during his uk tour in the mid-eighties, in relation to this subject. There was a well known beggar 'faqeer' who would go round knocking on peoples doors .. 'Give me food!! Give me Clothing!! For i have not eaten for days ... Allah has blessed you with wealth, health and shelter for i have none of these ...Please spare your scraps for this poor soul who has been neglected by his creator.....' With these words he would spend his days going to peoples houses where some would answer to his plea while others would shut the door on his face. One particular day he decided to go to an unknown area where he happened to knock on the door of a learned person. After making his plea...the householder opened his door to the faqeer having heard him say that Allah has not blessed him with anything. The learned person posed this question to the beggar. 'You say you have been neglected by Allah but i can see that He has blessed you with abundance of wealth, you are a millionaire! 'How can that be, i dont have a single dirham in my posession?' replied the faqeer. The learned person said 'I will pay you 10,000-00 dirham for one of your eyes'! The beggar became stunned by the persons request but immediately refused. The learned person increased his offer by saying 'Ok I will pay you 50,000-00 dirhams just for one of your hands', the faqeer just stood there completely lost for words... the learned person continued ' I will pay you 100,000-00 dirhams for one of your legs'. The beggar had nothing to say for himself so the learned scholar said it for him.. 'your going round saying Allah the Most Merciful has not blessed you with anything well I offered you thousands of dirhams for parts of your body given to you by your creator, in total it can earn you millions, parts of your body that you realise are so precious and important to you that your not prepared to part from any of them, so if you feel the need to beg please rephrase your words to 'please give in the name of Allah and by the blessings of Allah.' The faqeer realised and accepted his error, he thanked the wise man and never made the same mistake. It makes me think here that surely only those who are at the pinnacle of desperation would only sacrifice their limbs for sympathy while begging. However the moral of this story is to be always grateful to Allah subhaanahu wata'ala for all He has blessed us with. And never knowingly or unknowingly begrudged any of His favours. Alhamdolilah brother Faizan a fantastic story and a very important point. We tend to take the obvious things for granted so much. We definitely are millionaires. SUbhanallah Ajwaajal.

Assalam O alaikum I am glad you have all had a laugh at my expence ;D ha ha No it did come out wrong, so I can see the funny side. what I meant to say is. When people laugh too loud to get attention. Not just at weddings it could be any where usually in a hall at school .... anyway back to the subject, and then when they laugh loud if nobody responded they tend to laugh louder and louder and it does get annoying in the end. i think you should quit now, ;D so what your saying now is ''usually in a hall at school '' ? you must have some weird people following you.
